How we prepare a course
Before confirming training, we review the equipment, candidate experience, site conditions and the work the operator is expected to carry out. That can include checking machine category, attachments, capacity, controls, available loads, practical space, pedestrian segregation and any induction or access requirements. The aim is to agree the correct course route before the training date rather than resolving basic suitability questions after arrival.
For straightforward forklift bookings, the machine make and model, candidate experience and site postcode are usually enough to start the discussion. For specialist MHE, lorry loaders, unusual attachments, VNA equipment or container-handling machines, clear photographs and data-plate information can help confirm the training requirement. Customers can then choose suitable dates from the live diary and receive a written quotation showing the agreed course, duration and price.
Where several operators or machine types are involved, send the information as one complete list rather than separate partial messages. This makes it easier to compare experience levels, identify any conversion needs and plan the practical area around the actual equipment. The same approach helps with weekend bookings, unusual shift patterns and sites with limited access windows, because the course can be planned around those restrictions before the date is confirmed.
MHE Training UK works directly with employers rather than passing the booking through a separate instructor network. That means questions about the course route, equipment, practical area, dates and assessment can be discussed with the person responsible for delivering the training. For customers arranging repeat work, the same direct process also makes it easier to keep site information, machine details and previous course requirements consistent from one booking to the next.
